Other Bloggers have mentioned that pursuing a given occupation because it affords a better lifestyle is better than doing what you truly love.
Well if you dislike what you’re doing and you want to try your hand at something new, Vocation Vacations will set you up with a vacation at your new job. Unlike most jobs however, you pay for the experience just like a vacation. Here’s a good article about test driving your new job.

I am a pharmacist and make good money. Problem is my job sucks!!
I am thinking of quitting too. Don’t care if I make less. I just need to get a job that I enjoy and actually inspires me!

i think most people find their work boring after a certain number of years. you start to look for something more challenging or new.
in my case, i find that as soon as i become good at something, my interest in it dwindles.

My experience has been that you can’t cling to security AND figure out how to leave your job at the same time. Some amount of leaping into the unknown is involved. How much is your happiness worth?
