I love this semi-live blog! I can't be there for the cocktail parties but vicariously, this ethnography is for the ordinary person like me! Keep it coming!

Yes, I highly recommend Picolo's or Gorat's. I used to frequent Piccolo's every Saturday night for their great prime rib special. I'm originally from Omaha, now residing a couple of hours north in Sioux Falls, SD. Omaha is a great town, a very well kept secret of the midwest. Cost of living is relatively low and incomes are decent. I consider it a mini Kansas City. I wish I would have read your previous blog earlier so I could of recommended some things 'to catch' while in town. I remember my father preaching to me about Warrent Buffet as a boy some thirty years ago, extoling his frugality and his ability to be a long term investor. I remember meeting Mr. Buffett when I was perhaps eight years old, running into him, with my father and I eating out one Saturday night. I of course at that age had no clue on whom or what he was all about. My father was in awe, and this was back in the late seventies.
