I just ordered his book on Amazon.com. I never really new anything about Jim Rogers before reading this post, so thanks for enlightening me. The videos are a little scary, but it sure sounds like the truth. Hmm.. Maybe I should learn Mandarin, too. I was thinking about investing in some Canadian ETFs, but maybe I'll be better off in China/Asia. I guess I will put that on hold until I read the books. Excellent post. The real estate bubble was just an extension of this fantasy that you can finance growth through debt. So sad that people who did not live this way will also suffer.
