It is the only segment (that I know of at this time) that protects the buyer from fraudulent transactions. It provides up to $50,000 of protection. Ebay Motor's take is too high on older used items. Penny wise and dollar stupid. I've noticed a lot less on their site. The only thing they have a lot of is stuff that you can get at Walmart, and Walmart is cheaper. Example, a Holms Air Purifier. Ebay $59 with shipping. Exact same model at Walmart, $35.29, and that's including the sales tax. Use to do 90% of my shopping on ebay. Not anymore, not even close. Maybe 1 item a month, sometimes not even that.
