You're right, Obama isn't to blame - but he isn't totally without blame. It's really hard to find anyone who hasn't contributed to our current situation in some shape or form. We could blame Roosevelt's ponzi scheme of Social Security, previous Presidents for raiding it to fund various programs, GW for wasting a lot of money on a pointless war that didn't concern us, Cheney for being an outright crook, the Democrats for trying to push a wishy-washy gold-digger with no charisma as a presidential nominee, the Republicans for trying to push a war-hero (who's has been falling back on that POW theme for 50 years) with a incompetent moron as a running mate, Greenspan for contributing to the bubble and meltdown, Bernanke for not reacting fast enough and then over-reacting, Paulson for picking and choosing which financial companies to bail-out, and the Obama administration for the socialization of USA. It's more like a perfect storm of various events than just one event that has led us to where we are today.

It's also incorrect to put your blame entirely at Obama's feet. It was your guy W who gave away the farm to pretty much every cleptocrat but Lehman Brothers to begin the cycle of generational theft. I'm no fan of the present administration or the Chi-Coms, but your xenophobic and ignorant assertions make you appear to be the kind of garden variety dumbass that listens to Limbaugh in the afternoon and watches Bill-O in the evening.

Thinking for yourself isn't painful...

One thing to keep in mind before taking what HSBC says at face value is that HSBC is a Chinese bank owned and controlled by the communist Chinese government. Anything that HSBC says is coming from the Chinese communists who do not like the USA. It is true that the dollar is not in a good place right now but predicting it's demise is a bit much. I would be more worried about the Obama administration printing new money like there is no tomorrow and the out of control spending Obama is forcing on this country with all of his his ridiculous spending programs.
